Middlesex County Budget 2024

• THAT the 2024 Budget Presentation be received for information;

  AND THAT staff be directed to prepare a by-law to adopt the 2024 Budget, as presented, at the March 26, 2024, meeting of County Council.

• THAT pursuant to Section 6.3 of the South Central Ontario Region (SCOR) articles of incorporation, Middlesex County provide notice of resignation from SCOR.

AMO Social & Economic Prosperity Review

• THAT the AMO Social & Economic Prosperity Review Report be received for information;

  AND THAT Middlesex County Council formally support AMO’s call for a Social and Economic Prosperity review in the form of the resolution attached hereto as Appendix ‘A’.

Lake Erie Region Source Protection Committee Municipal Member Nomination

• THAT Council supports the nomination of Alex Piggott, Manager of Environmental Services at the Municipality of Central Elgin, as municipal representative for Group 7 on the Lake Erie Region Source Protection Committee.

Tender for Installation of Guide Rail Contract M-H-24

• THAT the County Engineer be authorized and directed to award Tender M-H-24 Steel Beam Guide Rail to Royal Fence. in the amount of $184,800.00 before taxes;

  AND THAT the County Engineer be authorized to execute, on behalf of the County of Middlesex, all agreements and other documents necessary to implement this award on confirmation that such agreements and other documents be in a form satisfactory to the County Solicitor.

Tender For Latex Traffic Paint Contract M-P-24

• THAT the County Engineer be authorized and directed to award Tender M-P-24 Traffic Paint to Sherwin Williams in the amount of $703,700.00 before taxes;

  AND THAT the County Engineer be authorized to execute, on behalf of the County of Middlesex, all agreements and other documents necessary to implement this award on confirmation that such agreements and other documents be in a form satisfactory to the County Solicitor.

• THAT the proposed Plan of Subdivision (File No. 39T-SC2302) be granted draft plan approval subject to conditions and that a Notice of Decision be circulated as required by the Planning Act and that the Notice of Decision indicate that all written submissions received on the application were considered; the effect of which helped make an informed recommendation and decision.

  THAT Amendment No. 17 (File No. 39-SC-OPA17) to the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc Official Plan be approved, and that staff be directed to circulate a Notice of Decision as required by the Planning Act and that the Notice of Decision indicate that all written submissions received on the application were considered; the effect of which helped to make an informed recommendation and decision.

Award of Hot Mix Asphalt Paving & Cold Asphalt Recycling Contracts
