  • THAT the Agenda be approved as presented.

  • THAT the Minutes of the October 10, 2023 Meeting of County Council be approved as presented; and

    THAT the recommendations made by Committee of the Whole as set out in the Minutes of the October 10, 2023 Meeting be adopted.

  • THAT the County Engineer be authorized and directed to award the Request for Tender #T-4-T13-2023 to Premier Truck Group London in the amount of $759,715.00 before taxes;

    AND THAT the County Engineer be authorized to execute, on behalf of the County of Middlesex, all agreements and other documents necessary to implement this award on confirmation that such agreements and other documents be in a form satisfactory to the County Solicitor.

Report from Brent Kerwin, Strathmere Lodge Administrator

  • THAT the Strathmere Lodge Administrator be directed to utilize section 11.1 of the Middlesex County Procurement Policy to award the Strathmere Lodge Roof Repairs at the recommendation of Garland Canada Inc. to Cordeiro Roofing in the amount of $78,900.00 before taxes;

    AND THAT the Administrator be authorized to execute, on behalf of the County of Middlesex, all agreements and other documents necessary to implement this award on confirmation that such agreements and other documents be in a form satisfactory to the County Solicitor.

  • THAT the revised by-law designating prescribed rates of speed on County Roads No. 1 to 81 inclusive be approved as presented and that the Warden and the County Clerk be authorized to execute the by-law at the November 7, 2023 council meeting.

  • THAT the 2022 Consolidated Financial Statements of the Corporation of the County of Middlesex be accepted; and

  • THAT the Middlesex County Library Board Financial Statements for the year ending December 31, 2022 be approved; and

    THAT the 2022 surplus be allocated as follows: $130,000 shall be applied towards the 2023 library operating costs, $40,000 shall be applied to the County 2023 budget and the remaining $29,812 shall be transferred to the County Tax Rate Stabilization reserve. The total surplus was $199,812.

  • THAT the yearend surplus from the 2022 operating accounts in the amount of $2,101,547 ($2,071,735 (County) +$29,812 (Library)) be transferred to the tax rate stabilization reserve.

  • THAT the Budget Variance Report – September 2023 be received for information; and

    THAT the 2023 Land Ambulance budget be updated to reflect the new 2023 projection based on actual funding received from the Ministry of Health.
