  • THAT the Agenda be approved as presented.

  • THAT the Minutes of the June 20, 2023 Meeting of County Council and the Minutes of the June 20, 2023 Closed Session of County Council be approved as presented, and

    THAT the recommendations made by Committee of the Whole as set out in the Minutes of the June 20, 2023 Meeting of adopted.

Report from Kelly Dolbear, Commander of Logistics, Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Josh White, Procurement Services Manager

  • THAT the Middlesex-London Paramedic Service Chief be authorized and directed to award the Request for Proposal # MLPS-2023-001 for Auto Body Repairs for Ambulances and Paramedic Response Vehicles to Colorworks Autobody Westman Collision in the estimated amount of $194,550.00 before taxes;

    AND THAT the Chief be authorized to execute, on behalf of the County of Middlesex, all agreements and other documents necessary to implement this award on confirmation that such agreements and other documents be in a form satisfactory to the County Solicitor.

  • THAT the Middlesex-London Paramedic Service Chief be authorized and directed to award the Request for Proposal # MLPS-2023-002 for Land Ambulance Fleet Maintenance, Repairs, and Inspections to Quarrie’s Tire and Auto in the estimated amount of $416,663.25 before taxes;

    AND THAT the Chief be authorized to execute, on behalf of the County of Middlesex, all agreements and other documents necessary to implement this award on confirmation that such agreements and other documents be in a form satisfactory to the County Solicitor.

  • THAT the request for a financial contribution of $20,000 for 2023 not be approved in accordance with the Grants Finance Policy and given that the 2023 budget has already been approved;

    AND THAT the County continue to be an active partner with MLOHT and provide in-kind support.

  • THAT staff be directed to utilize section 11.1 of the Middlesex County Procurement Policy to obtain architectural design services from Matter Architectural Studio for the design of a new governance and administration centre with funding provided from capital reserves.

  • THAT Council not approve the non-growth loan for the amount of $1.1 million dollar for the Affordable Housing Project, as it does not meet the criteria of the current County Loan Program or Grants Finance Policy.

  • THAT Committee of the Whole convene at ___pm.

  • THAT the Attainable Housing Review presentation be received for information; 

    AND THAT the Attainable Housing Review Interim Final Report be received for information;

  • THAT the 5-year Machinery Replacement Program be approved, and that the equipment scheduled for replacement in 2024 be tendered in the fall of 2023.
