  • Recommendation:

    THAT the Agenda be approved as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT the Minutes of the April 28, 2026 Regular Meeting be approved as presented; 

    AND THAT the Closed Session Minutes of the April 28, 2026 Regular Meeting be approved as presented; 

    AND THAT the recommendations made by the Committee of the Whole as set out in the Minutes of the April 28, 2026 meeting be adopted.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT the Housing Stability Action Plan (HSAP): 2026-2031 Report be received for information;

    AND THAT Middlesex County Council endorse the London-Middlesex Housing Stability Action Plan 2026-2031.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT the Council Policy 2.01 - Council Pregnancy & Parental Leave Policy report be received for information;

    AND THAT staff be directed to bring forward a by-law to adopt Council Policy 2.01 – Council Pregnancy & Parental Leave Policy at the May 26, 2026 meeting of Council.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT the 2026 Middlesex County Tourism Signage Policy Report be received for information; and

    AND THAT Middlesex County Council adopt the 2026 Middlesex County Tourism Signage Policy.

Report from Durk Vanderwerff, Director of Planning and Development

  • Recommendation:

    THAT amendment No. 5 to the Southwest Middlesex Official Plan be refused and that staff be directed to circulate a Notice of Decision as required by the Planning Act, and that the Notice of Decision indicate that no written submissions were received concerning this application.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Middlesex County Council, receive the report Award of Tender # MC-2026-05 – Plover Mills Bridge Rehabilitation Over the Thames River for information;

    AND THAT Council Award Tender # MC-2026-05 to Clearwater Structures Inc. in the amount of $1,733,515.50 excluding taxes;

    AND THAT the County Engineer be authorized to execute the agreement with Clearwater Structures Inc. in a form satisfactory to the County Solicitor.

Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose and a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board, in accordance with subsection 239(2)(f) and (k) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended.

  • Recommendation:
